Caracter\u00edsticas e historia del circuito de Silverstone<\/h2>\n

El Gran Premio de Inglaterra se disputar\u00e1 en uno de los circuitos m\u00e1s famosos del mundo, concretamente en\u00a0Silverstone.\u00a0Es uno de los escenarios m\u00e1s modernos y atractivos del calendario. Aqu\u00ed te contamos algunas curiosidades:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Tiene 5.900 metros de longitud y un ancho de 17 metros.<\/li>\n
  • Posee once curvas, cuatro a la izquierda y siete a la derecha.<\/li>\n
  • Su recta m\u00e1s larga es de 770 metros.<\/li>\n
  • Destaca por ser uno de los m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos del calendario de MotoGP. Los pilotos pueden llegar a alcanzar una velocidad m\u00e1xima de\u00a0285km\/h.<\/li>\n
  • Como muchos otros circuitos de Inglaterra, Silverstone comenz\u00f3 siendo un aer\u00f3dromo. Por eso, en su dise\u00f1o, utiliza las pistas de aterrizaje del antiguo aer\u00f3dromo.<\/li>\n
  • En 1948 se convirti\u00f3 en la sede del Gran Premio de Gran Breta\u00f1a.<\/li>\n
  • En 1949 tom\u00f3 la forma, base del actual trazado.<\/li>\n
  • A partir de\u00a01955, el\u00a0Gran Premio de Gran Breta\u00f1a\u00a0comenz\u00f3 a rotar entre\u00a0Aintree\u00a0y\u00a0Silverstone, para pasar en\u00a01963\u00a0a hacerlo entre\u00a0Silverstone\u00a0y\u00a0Brands Hatch.<\/li>\n
